Madoura Vessel #3
150mm x 160mm
Dark Stoneware with Black and Clear Gloss Glaze
This collection is where my art and ceramics truly converge. I have gravitated towards simplistic shapes to let the one-line drawings as seen in my Dora collection truly shine. The collection is named after Madoura Pottery, the family ceramics business that inspired Picasso to start creating his ceramics, ushering in one of the most prolific periods of his career.
Please note there is a minor imperfection on the lower half of this handmade vessel, as shown.
Shipping & Delivery
We use Australia Post (registered) for small artworks, or Pack & Send Couriers and Moving Art Couriers for larger or more fragile items. All artworks purchased will be dispatched within 5 business days from purchase, unless otherwise stated in artwork description for framing.
Delivery of works is directly from the artist’s studio to the buyer’s address, which places agency in the hands of the creative and minimises handling costs. This does, however, mean that shipping times cannot be provided until after purchase, but will be confirmed as soon as it is possible.
Depending on the artwork, the buyer might be required to sign for delivery, with couriers contacting customers directly to arrange suitable dates and times.
If you are purchasing artworks from multiple artists and require delivery to one address, please contact info@bisonart.com.au to arrange for a streamlined delivery.
Please refer to our detailed Buyers’ Terms here.
Returns & Exchanges
Bison Art works extremely hard to ensure that there is little to no need for returns or exchanges, as this negatively impacts our artists. We have a company-wide policy of no returns or exchanges unless there is a problem with the work on delivery. Depending on your location we may be able to arrange a private inspection of artwork prior to purchase. Please contact the gallery on info@bisonart.com.au to discuss private viewings.
Please refer to our detailed Buyers’ Terms here.
Sustainability
Inherent within our ethos is the ideal that investing in exclusive limited-edition art with known provenance is the antithesis to ‘fast fashion’ generic prints. Finding a work that sings to your soul is likely to ensure you love it enough to cherish it for life, thus avoiding the inevitable binning of fad purchases from the plastic-plant aisle of a major retailer.
Where possible, Bison Art uses recycled materials, and we avoid unnecessary over-packaging. Plus, as the delivery of works is from the artist’s studio, we are able to minimise excess transportation costs.
