Whisper Walk Through The Breast Of The Forest

610mm x 920mm
Oil and on canvas
Stretched canvas, framed white timber

Being purposeful in promoting texture on this painting, it teases the viewers to touch the painting (when perhaps they shouldn’t) as art can be enjoyed both physically and visually. Paint is applied directly from the tube and mixed directly on the canvas. The unpredictable dynamic that follows is one that can only come with letting go and trusting the process. The use and application of an oil stick bring together the artwork, providing a new texture for the viewer.

With multiple layers, there releases details that are only revealed when you take the time to look deep in the art work. The colour palette and bold shapes play an integral part in forcing the viewer’s eyes over every inch of this piece, highlighting these little details.

The thought process behind this painting explores the dynamics of asking viewers to not to conceptualize an artwork, but to enjoy the thought that we need not try to isolate art into a single aesthetic identity.

The price for this artwork as of 12th August 2024 is $1400.

Shipping & Delivery

We use Australia Post (registered) for small artworks, or Pack & Send Couriers and Moving Art Couriers for larger or more fragile items. All artworks purchased will be dispatched within 5 business days from purchase, unless otherwise stated in artwork description for framing.

Delivery of works is directly from the artist’s studio to the buyer’s address, which places agency in the hands of the creative and minimises handling costs. This does, however, mean that shipping times cannot be provided until after purchase, but will be confirmed as soon as it is possible.

Depending on the artwork, the buyer might be required to sign for delivery, with couriers contacting customers directly to arrange suitable dates and times.

If you are purchasing artworks from multiple artists and require delivery to one address, please contact info@bisonart.com.au to arrange for a streamlined delivery.

    Returns & Exchanges

Bison Art works extremely hard to ensure that there is little to no need for returns or exchanges, as this negatively impacts our artists. We have a company-wide policy of no returns or exchanges unless there is a problem with the work on delivery. Depending on your location we may be able to arrange a private inspection of artwork prior to purchase. Please contact the gallery on info@bisonart.com.au to discuss private viewings.

Inherent within our ethos is the ideal that investing in exclusive limited-edition art with known provenance is the antithesis to ‘fast fashion’ generic prints. Finding a work that sings to your soul is likely to ensure you love it enough to cherish it for life, thus avoiding the inevitable binning of fad purchases from the plastic-plant aisle of a major retailer.

Where possible, Bison Art uses recycled materials, and we avoid unnecessary over-packaging. Plus, as the delivery of works is from the artist’s studio, we are able to minimise excess transportation costs.
