Sublime Amorphic

760mm x 1020mm
Oil and Pastel on canvas
Stretched canvas

The painting aims to unravel the collective consciousness of society and for the viewer to feel involved with the right to free association of thought. “Sublime Amorphic” asks for those dormant thoughts in the subconsciousness to permit themselves to immerse oneself into the painting.

There is a consciousness of keeping the organic shapes unstructured, allowing the colour palette to play the primary role with this piece. However adding finer lines and hidden detail brings this work together in a cacophony of shapes and colours. I allowed myself the guilty pleasure of having fun with this painting too, the blue splash explores a carefree attitude while the thick dripping of paint at the top was just my artist indulgence in exploration.

Shipping & Delivery

We use Australia Post (registered) for small artworks, or Pack & Send Couriers and Moving Art Couriers for larger or more fragile items. All artworks purchased will be dispatched within 5 business days from purchase, unless otherwise stated in artwork description for framing.

Delivery of works is directly from the artist’s studio to the buyer’s address, which places agency in the hands of the creative and minimises handling costs. This does, however, mean that shipping times cannot be provided until after purchase, but will be confirmed as soon as it is possible.

Depending on the artwork, the buyer might be required to sign for delivery, with couriers contacting customers directly to arrange suitable dates and times.

If you are purchasing artworks from multiple artists and require delivery to one address, please contact to arrange for a streamlined delivery.

The free shipping offer applies free shipping automatically at checkout on selected artworks, for delivery within Australia only. Free Shipping is available on all artwork by Alisha Rich, Ben Randall, Bianca Slade, Brigitte Amiel-Northover, Daniel Paul Peterson, Elena Strohfeldt (excludes ceramics), Jane Sankey, Kai Hagberg, Kate Rogers, Lauren Esplin, Marie Hiot, Monica Pronk, Sarah Hudson, Scott Ruzzene and Zelia Ranger.

    Returns & Exchanges

Bison Art works extremely hard to ensure that there is little to no need for returns or exchanges, as this negatively impacts our artists. We have a company-wide policy of no returns or exchanges unless there is a problem with the work on delivery. Depending on your location we may be able to arrange a private inspection of artwork prior to purchase. Please contact the gallery on to discuss private viewings.

Please refer to our detailed Buyers’ Terms here.

Inherent within our ethos is the ideal that investing in exclusive limited-edition art with known provenance is the antithesis to ‘fast fashion’ generic prints. Finding a work that sings to your soul is likely to ensure you love it enough to cherish it for life, thus avoiding the inevitable binning of fad purchases from the plastic-plant aisle of a major retailer.

Where possible, Bison Art uses recycled materials, and we avoid unnecessary over-packaging. Plus, as the delivery of works is from the artist’s studio, we are able to minimise excess transportation costs.
